Cairo · Days 1–3
Arrival in Cairo
Land in Cairo and transfer to your hotel. Evening welcome briefing with your expedition guides and fellow travellers.
Pyramids of Giza & the Sphinx
A full day exploring the Giza plateau, including the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx, and the Solar Boat Museum, with an expert Egyptologist guide.
Egyptian Museum & Islamic Cairo
Visit the Egyptian Museum's treasures, then explore the historic streets and mosques of Islamic Cairo.
Luxor · Days 4–8
Fly to Luxor: Karnak, Luxor Temple & Eclipse Briefing
Morning domestic flight to Luxor. Afternoon exploring Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, illuminated at dusk, followed by an evening astronomy briefing on what to expect during totality.
Totality Over Luxor
Eclipse day. Gather with your group at a dedicated viewing site in Luxor to witness roughly six minutes of totality as the Moon covers the Sun over ancient Egypt.
Valley of the Kings & West Bank
Cross to the West Bank for the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon.
Nile Felucca & Free Time
A relaxed felucca sail on the Nile and free time in Luxor to reflect on totality.
Free Morning, Fly Back to Cairo
A free morning in Luxor, then an evening domestic flight back to Cairo.

Departure
Transfer to Cairo airport for onward international flights home.
